 | Malcolm BellDirector & Financial AdviserMalcolm is 67 years of age, originally from a small island off the coast of Scotland called Rothesay. Arrived in Australia in 1964 (only seven, so no accent) as part of the “ten pound passage” scheme that delivered so many “new Australians” at the time. Educated at University High School and then Melbourne University where he completed a Bachelor of Commerce, Malcolm commenced his working life as an accountant with a medium size accounting practice who specialized in the medical and medical related professions – doctors, dentists, pharmacists. In 1983 Malcolm commenced his own accounting practice from a small office in Moonee Ponds and was joined by his brother Alex in 1986. Despite the occasional cross word with each other Malcolm and Alex are still in partnership today and Alex now takes responsibility for the substantial accounting practice which provides a full range of taxation and accountancy services to individuals and small businesses. Since 1983 Bell Partnership has provided financial planning services. As the industry matured into a profession it became apparent that financial planning needed to be viewed as a specialist occupation so Malcolm’s time is now focused specifically on providing financial planning services. Malcolm is the Principal/Director of Bell Partnership FP, holder of an Australian Financial Services Licencee. Previously he was a founding member of Apogee Financial Planning and has served on their National Advisory Board and was president of that Board for three years. He is also a member of the Financial Planning Association. Malcolm offers a wide range of financial and taxation experience, has spoken many times at industry seminars and conferences, and has experience in media, conducting The Money program on 3AW between 1999 and 2003.  | Andrew BellGeneral Manager & Financial AdviserAndrew joined Bell Partnership at the age of 16. Andrew has a Diploma of Financial Services and is the youngest of Malcolm's four sons. In addition to managing the day to day operations of the business, Andrew specializes in insurance and superannuation advice. | |

 | Lachlan BellFinancial AdviserLachlan has provided individuals and business with financial, investment, and insurance advice for over 15 years. Lachlan is primarily focused on managing the $200 million dollars of clients funds under Bell Partnership stewardship, always seeking new ways to drive returns and stay ahead of the news cycle. Lachlan holds a silver level Duke Of Edinburgh award for Community Services in Australia and overseas. Lachlan prides himself on thinking ‘out of the box’, and finding solutions to issues broad sections of our clients deal with on a daily basis, adding to the unique views and strategies of Bell Partnership, something that keeps our clients satisfied and coming back year after year.  | Geoff BowesAccountantAfter completing his studies at RMIT, Geoff began his journey with Bell Partnership in 1995. With a career spanning over 30 years, he brings a wealth of expertise and is very well equipped to assist with any accounting needs.  | Simon EtheridgeAccountantSimon is originally from New Zealand and has lived and worked in Melbourne since 1995, he joined Bell Partnership in 2008. Simon has a Diploma of Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK) and an Advanced Diploma of Accounting from RMIT. As a Member of the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA), Simon has completed the IPA post graduate program resulting in the awarding of a Master of Commerce (Public Accounting) qualification. Prior to joining Bell Partnership, Simon ran his own Bookkeeping business for 7 years. As a result, Simon has a wide range of experience and knowledge when it comes to running small to medium sized businesses. Simon tends to focus on providing taxation advice for clients who are looking to start a business or who are running an existing business. Simon is also experienced in dealing with GST for businesses and Capital Gains Tax issues for individual clients.  | Debbie GillDeb started work at Bell Partnership in 1984. She took time away to have her two children, one of whom is Jack Pascu, an accountant in the company. For quite a few years, Deb worked in the travel industry for a client of Bell Partnership, she returned to our business in 2003. She has had various roles in all areas of our company. Deb works closely with Andrew in the management of the business and with Malcolm servicing our financial planning clients. | |

Jack graduated from La Trobe in 2009 with a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in accounting. Jack has been working full time at Bell Partnership since 2009 focusing on individual and larger tax issues, he is particularly passionate about working with emergency services personnel given his family history with the Metropolitan Fire Brigade.  | David GleesonClient ServicesDavid started his working life in 1972 in the Warrnambool area at a local branch of one of the major banks. In 1987 David left the bank while living in Melbourne and started, with some sporting friends, a financial services business. The business developed locally, then nationally and was acquired by Lend Lease in 1994. From 1994 to February 2005 David worked for Lendlease Financial Planning, now Apogee Financial Planning, in various management roles. David joined Bell Partnership in March 2005 and during the period up until early this year David provided Financial Planning advice to clients mainly focussing on assisting them manage their lifestyle goals and objectives. During this period David was a member of the Financial Planning Association, held a Diploma of Financial Planning and was a Certified Financial Planner. David has now stepped back from providing financial planning advice and is now focused on attending to client’s needs.
